1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup whole milk
4 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. white vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. celery seed
8 cups finely shredded green cabbage
1 cup finely shredded red cabbage
1 cup shredded carrots
black pepper to taste
1 Whisk together mayonnaise, sugar, milk, lemon juice, vinegar, salt and celery seed in a large bowl until sugar is dissolved.
2 Stir in cabbage and shredded carrots.
3 Cover and chill at least four hours. Stir before serving.
This coleslaw is great either on the side or piled on top of BBQ pork sandwiches!
